“We need your help and support for Redcliffe’s Koalas”

Come and join us, the Green Army Team, Luke Howarth MP and Cr Koliana Winchester for a morning of tree planting, guided tours and information about the rehabilitation of important bushland including a proposed koala trail.

The Green Army team and the Redcliffe Environmental Forum Inc along with Councillor Koliana Winchester and Luke Howarth MP invite members of our local community to participate in a community tree planting day. We will also be providing participants with a chance to the rehabilitation work being carried out by our Green Army team which is so important to the survival of our Koalas and other local wildlife.
9.00 am Registration and display Marquees; Sausage sizzle and drinks (gold coin donation)
9.15 am Welcome followed by by a guided walk to “Lily the Koala’s” tree and the Osprey’s nest
9.45 am Short interpretive walk to community planting session
10.30 am Guided walk along proposed koala trail
What to bring
· Wet weather gear (just in case)
· Sun protection (hat and sun lotion)
· Insect repellent
· Mud appropriate footwear and clothing
· Water (water bottle)
